Atomization of the low pressure intermittent sprayer is mainly by pressure,which has a poor spray atomization.Effervescent atomization is a kind of new twin-fluid atomization technology,which can achieve a significant improvement in performance of smaller drop size under a lower injection pressure and lower gas-liquid ratio As the gas-liquid two phase flow type in mixing chamber is critical impact on the stability of its atomization.It's practical significance to study the effervescent atomization technology applied in the household low-pressure intermittent atomizer by improving the gas-liquid two phase flow type in the mixing chamber.Firstly,this paper has studied the flow track of gas and liquid when they rotate into the mixing chamber.And we designed a new type of swirling gas-fluid effervescent atomization nozzle used for low-pressure and domestic intermittent spray.Then established a mathematical model of the flow field inside of the nozzle to simulate and analyze the distribution of gas-liquid two phase flow,the gas volume distribution,axial velocity in nozzle exit and spray angle of nozzle in different structure parameters.From which we can predict the effect of different mixing chamber length and different helix angle on the gas-liquid two phase flow type in the mixing chamber.Then,in order to further study the effect of different parameters on gas-liquid flow type in the mixing chamber and performance of the atomization in the nozzle exit.We set up a experimental test platform which can simulate manual operation intermittent spaying and designed a pre-experimental program to study the atomization in different gas-liquid volume ratio.The gas-liquid two phase flow type in the mixing chamber,velocity out of the nozzle,spray angle and atomization range of nozzle in different size parameters were studied by using High-speed Video Camera and Particle Image Velocimetry System.At last,the numerical simulation and experimental results were compared and analyzed;the result shows there is a good consistency of them.This indicates that the numerical simulation method this paper established is correct.At the meantime,it also shows that the effervescent atomization nozzle of swirling gas-liquid this paper designed is entirely feasible;it could achieve a good performance in atomization.
