Engine as the core of a large machine,The performance of it's electronic controller plays a vital role to the whole machine whether can work normally.Therefore,detecting the electronic controller regularly to make it works normally is the essential condition to make sure the engine run normally.At present,the most widespread method to test the engine electronic controller is joint detection with multiple machines,however,this method has lots of malpractices such as low efficiency,poor accuracy,low reliability,resource consumption,in addition,equipment with this method is inconvenient to carry in the practical application,reducing the effectiveness of external field work largely.The Embedded Portable Monitor in this project can complete real-time monitoring to the electronic controller of a large machine effectively.This project has already developed an embedded portable monitor early days.Although meet the basic demands of testing and,controlling this monitor has many of reliability problems,such as non-design software runaway by electromagnetic interference,a program loop,device crash,unclassified communication,etc.In order to solve these problems,this paper do research and analysis about reliability and communication technology of the embedded portable device and put forward the solutions.This topic relies on the project of a special portable monitor with large engine,aiming at the actual demands,researching the development environment of software and hardware of embedded portable device and characteristic of AT91SAM9263 core board,analysing reliability factor of embedded system,Linux kernel mechanism,embedded GUI and the importance of system modules,completing customization of The WATCHDOG,cutting and transplanting of Linux kernel and designing of multitasks mode,achieving system deployment of watchdog.At last,this paper complete file inter-visits by analysing communication process and protocol and file system structure between electronic controller and device,and design Linux static Communication Library to communicate reliability.Results in the engine special portable Monitor with above design show that the system designed in this paper runs stably and can achieve the predetermined design goal.
