The stability of transmission line has a great impact on the reliable operation of power grid.The realization of transmission line visualized management cain help us efficiently maintain the safe and stable operation of transmission lines.In this paper,a transmission line visualized management system is developed,which adopted virtual reality technique to realize the visualization of transmission lines and related equipment.The system can truly reflect the transmission line operation state,and help the operating personnel effectively manage the information of transmission line equipment,which can not only meet demand of the transmission lines daily operation,but also can improve the patrol and maintenance efficiency.In this paper,the virtual reality modeling methods and the related theories are analyzed in detail and according to the characteristics of transmission line,a modeling method based on the graphics and image is described which is suitable for transmission lines.Also an optimization method is presented and the experimental results show that the optimization effect is remarkable.On the demand analysis stage,this paper analyzes the functional requirements of transmission line management system and establish six functional modules including:user management,transmission line 3d scene display,transmission line information management,the meteorological environment query,fault and warning query and the maintenance and repair records query.On the system design stage,the system chooses the Eclipse as the development workbench,the MySQL Server as the database and use B/S mode and JDBC as the database access method.On this stage,the related database tables and the system interface are designed.On the system implementation stage,the main program and the transmission line 3d scene dynamic display is completed according to each function modules' program flow charts.Finally,the development of transmission line visualized management system is completed.Testing results show that the system is easy to use,friendly interface and the virtual 3d scenes can reflect the state of transmission lines,furthermore,it can meet the functional requirements and has higher practicability.
