With the continuous development of subway construction in china.How to reduce the energy consumption of subway has become a problem to be solved.New platform screen door(PSD),also known as adjustable ventilated platform door system has been used in some southern parts of metro lines.But there is few application in northern China.The characteristics of the new type of PSD is it can make good use of the piston wind to ventilate when open the air vent during the transition season to reducing the energy consumption of the fan.Closing the air vent also guarantee the cooling of the station cannot flow into the tunnel at summer.In this paper,the new type of PSD and thermal environment of an island station in winter was studied.The numerical simulation was used to study the feasibility of the new platform screen door of a building subway station in Urumqi,Xinjiang by using CFD.The results show that the new type of PSD in Xinjiang is feasible.This study compare the velocity field when the air vent opening at three Angle of 30°,60° and 90° when the single train in and out of the station,and check the ventilation quantity of the station.According to the analysis,the study put forward the air vent can be open 60° to 90°,because the effect of the ventilation in platform is the best at this time.At the same time,this paper also studies the temperature distribution within the station when the air vent close in winter.We simulate the internal thermal environment at three kinds of outside temperature conditions in the station.Found that when the outside temperature is below 5?,the temperature in the station has not satisfied the metro design specification about that the temperature in metro station should not be less than 12? in winter.When the outside temperature is-10?,the station within the local temperature is less than 0?.In order to alleviate the low temperature environment in the metro station in the northern cold region.The study put forward to add the hot air curtain at the exit of the metro station to protect against the cold wind.
