| Functional diversity,an important component of biodiversity,is a key factor in linking plant functional traits to ecosystem functions.Based on the deep analysis of species diversity, functional diversity, functional traits, ecosystem function and ecosystem services, this paper puts forward the strategy of functional diversity so as to provide theoretical basis for realizing the optimal allocation of green resources, improving the function of green space diversification and upgrading of green ecosystem services. In the process of constructing functional diversity, firstly,we clarified the basic idea of connection function diversity and landscape design, and identified the main types of urban green space ecosystem services.Secondly, through the literature review and summarizing of experimental results of others, six kinds of ecosystem services in urban green space such as dust retention, carbon sequestration and oxygen release, noise abatement, water conservation, microclimate and soil conservation were studied;a clear relationship between different plant functional traits and ecosystem services was determined. The purpose of this study is to achieve the diversity of urban Greenland ecosystem service and directional optimization of ecosystem service in plant landscape design. In order to accomplish the diversity of urban Greenland eco-system services,we used the Gij index to calculate the difference degree between plants, the selection of plant distribution was optimized by maximizing the difference of functional traits in plant communities. To achieve the directional optimization of green space ecosystem services,we determined the main functional traits that affect the ecosystem services and constructed the evaluation methods of the ecological benefits of single plants. Also, the functional diversity index was used to complete the dominant ecosystem services of the green space. When the dominant ecosystem services of the green space are different from those of the human life, the goal of directional optimization of ecosystem services can be achieved by improving the plant’s distribution plant. |
