Application Of High Pressure Jet Grouting Method In Underwater Foundation Construction

High pressure jet grouting method has been introduced into China since 1970s.It was only used for small construction project in the very beginning,but gradually applied to large scale water conservancy projects in the 80s.For the several advantages like wide adaptations,wide material sources and efficiency,it becomes to the most common method to deal with the construction's base.The principle of this technology is the utility of the jet force to destroy the soil layer,with a good slurry spray out combined to the high pressure pump machine,and with a grouting pipe that inserted into the target soil layer first.After that the soil is gradually loosened and fell off,a small part of the slurry back to the ground,and the other part of it mixture to the facilitations then forms a new consolidated body.The consolidation of soil and the soil can enhance the load capacities many times then the original soil,then the base is strengthened.High pressure jet grouting method with single tube,double tube,triple tube method,multiple tube method.Different methods of machine structure make the application scope of each method is not the same.The parameters of the jet grouting machine affect the quality of the rotary jet grouting pile.The quality of jet grouting pile further affects the strength of the composite foundation.Therefore,the choice of parameters of construction machinery and composite foundation should be reasonable and accurate.High pressure jet grouting construction process mainly includes drilling emplacement,drilling to design depth jet grouting,cleaning machine,move to next hole.Each process in the construction may be a problem.Affect the quality of the project and even safety accidents.To continue to accumulate experience to solve the construction problems,improve the construction technology of jet grouting.Due to the change of construction environment,high pressure jet grouting in the construction will encounter different problems.This paper,based on the characteristics of high pressure jet grouting technology and geological exploration content,the construction process of underwater foundation reinforcement,summarizes the key points and safety measures of high-pressure jet grouting technology in the treatment of underwater foundation construction,The construction behavior of water jet grouting pile is evaluated by MES method.and provides reference for the construction of high pressure jet grouting under similar conditions.
