Design Of Smart Home Control System

With the development of science and technology,traditional smart home control program is not flexible because of its high cost,complex wring and difficult maintenance.Nowadays,smart phones have become essential and portable to people,so there is a hotspot which choosing them as smart home device control terminal.At the same time,Wireless Sensor Networks technology is developing rapidly,ZigBee technology has become one of the most popular networks because of low power consumption,less cost,stable performance and strong networking capabilities.Therefore,this paper proposed that using Android mobile phone to be the client and ZigBee technology to build wireless sensor networks in smart home.The main work of this paper is as follows:1.Firstly,this paper chooses to use the MVC model to design the client's overall framework.Then,Socket protocol is designed to implement the communication between the smart home client and gateway.The database is based on SQLite which comes from Android.The smart home device information is stored through SQLite.2.Smart home gateway is designed by the ARM 11 board with Linux system.The Socket server and database is designed to respond to the request which comes from smart home client.3.Using Z-Stack protocol stack to implement smart home wireless sensor network.Using the IAR integrated development environment to design programs for CC2530 chip as the terminal node which can be used to receive command from Android client and collect environmental information.4.The smart home control system is construct from the client,gateway and terminal node mentioned above.The system has been tested for related functions,and the test result can meet the practical application requirements.
