As one of the most important component of urban gas transmission and distribution system,gas regulator has an irreplaceable role.It regulates the inlet pressure to the desired outlet pressure and maintains it.The safety and stability of the gas transmission and distribution system depend on gas regulator.In this paper,a gas regulator performance testing device is designed for large diameter gas regulator to achieve high precision,high efficiency automated detection of the performance of gas regulator.The detailed researches in this article are as follow:(1)By consulting relevant books,periodicals and other papers,learn the working principle and process of gas regulator.Study the current domestic and foreign methods of testing the performance curve,lock-up pressure and other properties for large diameter gas regulator and investigate related equipment.The principle and testing process of performance testing are analyzed based on the national standard "urban gas pressure regulator"(GB 27790-2011).(2)According to the national standard,the specific production situation and requirements of the enterprise,the design scheme of the system is put forward,and the selection scheme and basis of key components are also given.The hardware system is divided into four parts: control unit,pressure adjustment unit,flow adjustment unit,AD acquisition unit.The Testing software is divided into three parts: PLC program,touch screen program and host computer program.(3)For the situation that the inlet pressure and flow rate of the gas regulator affect each other and it is hard to establish an accurate mathematical model,a scheme that the parallel control valve group combined with the fuzzy PID control algorithm is proposed to realize the automatic adjustment of the inlet pressure and flow rate.Through experimental data and analysis,it turns out that the scheme meets the system design requirements.
