Outer-rotor brushless DC motor integrates the advantages of brushless DC motor and outer-rotor motor.In some cases,using outer-rotor brushless DC motor can make equipment get more ideal operation effect.This paper designs the outer-rotor brushless DC motor control system based on digital signal processor(DSP),including design of fuzzy PID control algorithm,design of model based on MATLAB/Simulink,design of hardware of control system,design of software program of DSP,and conducts simulation and experiment.This paper compares different drive mode and main control chip and identifies three-phase six-state full-bridge drive way with DSP as main control chip,and finishes the design of hardware of control system.Basic design of fuzzy PID is completed and it is based on analysis of fuzzy PID theory.According to the mathematical model and correlation theory of outer-rotor brushless DC motor,this paper establishes simulation model of the motor in MATLAB/Simulink.The simulation results show that the established motor model is effective and feasible.It can be used for simulation study of outer-rotor brushless DC motor.Meanwhile fuzzy PID can reduce the speed overshoot when the motor is starting.Software control program of outer-rotor brushless DC motor includes main program and interrupt service subroutine which uses modular design.In the part of fuzzy PID module,this paper describes the specific implementation process of fuzzy PID.This paper establishes motor experiment platform whose main control chip is DSP and conducts the control experiment of outer-rotor brushless DC motor used in electric vehicle and measures related waveform by oscilloscope.The experimental results show that fuzzy PID control can improve dynamic performance and control accuracy of the system and make it have good robustness.The simulation model,software program and control strategy of outer-rotor brushless DC motor control system designed by this paper are effective and feasible.They can meet the control requirements of motor.For the study of other control strategies,to improve program and simulation model based on this paper's can make development process more convenient.
