The Design Of The New Rural Whole Kitchen In The Southeastern Mountainous Area Of Hunan Province

The kitchen is an indispensable residential space for every family,With the implementation of the reform and opening policy for 38 years and the development of coastal economy.The farmers’ income is increasing constantly,while the farmers’ideology of household kitchen is changing.However,the rural kitchen is lack of design or the design of rural kitchen can not meet the needs of modern rural residents.At the same time,the facilities and design of the rural kitchen can not copy the urban kitchen design directly.Therefore,I interviewed the local rural residents and collected many sets of data through the field investigation of rural kitchen in different counties(cities)in the south-east mountainous area of Hunan province.In this paper,I summarized the following problems which need to be solved,and I researched the kitchen utensils and the overall kitchen by using the knowledge what I have learned:Second,the rural residents in this mountainous area are relatively conservative in their thoughts,and they have various behavior and customs,for example,geomantic customs,and the location of the stove.The design must take into account the behavior and customs of rural residents in order to enable the implementation of the program.Third,the income of rural residents in this mountainous area is uneven.According to the survey,27%of the residents are willing to spend 3,000 yuan to 5,000 yuan on the kitchen decoration,50%of the residents will pay the cost of the kitchen decoration about 5,000 yuan to 10,000 yuan,21%of the residents would like to spend less than 3,000 yuan decorating their kitchen,and only 1%of the residents would like to spend more than 10,000 yuan on the kitchen decoration.Therefore,the kitchen design needs to carry on the cost control and various cost design plans.Fourth,the biggest difference between rural kitchen and urban kitchen design is different cooker,but the original kitchen in rural area is large in size and low in fuel heat conversion rate,so it is necessary to design a stove which is suitable for local mountain area.Not only can the rural kitchen cabinet and storage utensils reserve kitchen tools,but also they can reserve the agricultural products and seeds.So it is necessary to design kitchen cabinet and storage utensils according to the different needs of the types of items and storage conditions.Synthesizing the above problems,I started from the nature of the problem and combined with the local actual situation,and I designed the single item,and then I researched the design of the new rural kitchen according to the capital grade of rural residents.Finally,I took the household type of the investigation as the sample to carry on the scheme design combination.
