In the rapid economic development,rapid industrialization,improvement of living standards,urbanization accelerated at the same time,power users put forward higher requirements for power supply reliability.Power system by a variety of grounding methods,power distribution system in the process of development,10 KV distribution network grounding is one of the most crucial part of the selection.If the fault appears in the distribution network,the power system will also be significantly affected.Therefore,the fault on the distribution network is more critical line selection.Power distribution system directly to the user,is an important link to connect the power supply and electricity.Therefore,after the distribution network breaks down,how to quickly detect,identify and locate the fault,quickly identify the fault,know the fault distance,eliminate the influence in time and restore the power supply,so as to ensure the stability and safety of the power system Running,with extremely important significance.The paper attempts to use mathematical methods to analyze the transient and steady state of various ways in the distribution network neutral-ground system,and get the characteristics of each system in the event of a single ground fault.Secondly,the wavelet transform and wavelet packet transform are analyzed,and the method of fault line selection is optimized according to the principle of wavelet packet transform.Wavelet transform is the result of the development on the basis of Fourier transform,it has very good ability of frequency domain analysis,can well identify high-frequency transient new,is to study the strong in this area tool.Then,the method of single-and double-end ranging is described.At the same time,a method of fault location is given based on the theory of wavelet transform.The reliability of the method is proved through detailed analysis and simulation,and the fault line selection Practical ability.
