The study of the spatial and temporal rules of urban resident activities can grasp the development of urban scale and the trend of urban expansion, else can provide theoretical support for the implementation and management of the transportation sector, making recommendations to the planning of the future development of the city.Traditional resident behavior studies were based on a questionnaire survey with low efficiency and fewer samples.Taxi GPS tracks have an advantage of not being fixed with line constraints, which has been proved a good data source for the study of urban residents' activity behavior; The huge user cardinal number of Location-Based Social Networks(LBSN)has making location check-in data as another effective method of resident behavior research by the popularity of intelligent mobile devices.Based on the data source from Sina Microblog check-ins and taxi GPS tracks, the expression approaches,spatial-temporal changes are explored by comprehensive macro-dynamic activity and regional spatial connection characteristics of the two aspects of the check-in users and taxi passengers in the characteristics of each other,as well as differences, which provide a new solution to the study of urban residents' behavior. The main research contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)Data acquisition and preprocessing.Introduce the basic situation of the study area.Describe the collection pre-processing method of Sina microblog check-in data,as well as the building process of check-in objects.Illustrate the structure and construction of the OD trajectory of the taxi.Introduce the source of the road network data with preprocessing processes.(2)The activity characteristics of the check-in user group and its spatial-temporal law.The methods of check-in data, proposed for discovering the hotspots and hot zones based on its grasping, has been used to study the macroscopic dynamic analysis of activity characteristics.Experiment demonstrates:Clustering method can effectively avoid the problem that the outlier location object with high repeatability is chosen as the peak and clustering, and has excellent spatial adaptability as well when comparing with check-in data from other area.It has been found that the activity area of the check-in user group is concentrated in the area within the Second Ring Road,as well as the land type concentrated in the commercial area and educational land, which is more obvious at night.(3)The activity characteristics and spatial-temporal change of taxi passenger group. The general spatial-temporal distribution of OD points has been analysed to discover the macro dynamic activity of spatial-temporal group, using the OD data partitioning method on road intersection to transform the research objet into a planar research unit with the entry and exit characteristics in regard to the spatial-temporal activity intensity..It is demonstrated that the area focused by the activities of the taxi passenger group is surrounded by the Second-Ring-Road and Minjiang River, named as taxi core area.Similarly, the check-in group is consistent, but more emphasis on traffic stations. The activities are more complex in the day,but relatively concentrated at night.(4)Analysis of activity relationship between taxi passengers and check-in users.Flow maps are introduced to analyze the mobile characteristics of the passenger group vividly based on the attraction degree to measure the influence of the unit on the rental trip. The connection characteristics in different research units for two groups,as well as the differences and changes in selection of different categories of land-use,are explored by means of taxi interaction and check-in density distribution. It has been found that the influence of restriction on Minjiang River and Second-Ring Road for the taxi activities are greater than that on check-in activities.Furthermore, the former is inclined to the old city of business districts and traffic stations more obviously,as well as the check-in user groups for the emerging business district and cultural and educational sites.
