Bolt tightening technology is widely used in the manufacturing industry and other fields.The quality of a product is directly affected by the quality of this technology.In order to ensure the quality of a product,as well as the reputation of the enterprise,a set of thorough and accurate evaluation methods for the bolt tightening process is needed.The bolt tightening process involves analyzing vasts amounts of data,such as torque,turning angle,and more.The traditional statistical analysis method is limited for this application since it is difficult to meet the high quality standards set by the enterprise.However,a complete set of accurate and thorough evaluation methods can be established with the help of industrial big data analysis.In this paper,we first set up an industrial data analysis plan.A data interface is established between the data collection device and the analysis platform to allow for the acquisition of data sets.These sets are then cleaned and any outlying data is removed.Further,the data model is set up using the extracted data,forming a complete industrial big data analysis scheme.Looking to imitate the characteristics of bolt tightening data,multiple machine learning algorithms are analyzed,and ultimately a clustering algorithm is selected as the main research method.After analyzing the characteristics of two kinds of bolt tightening data,two clustering algorithms,K-means and DBSCAN,are selected for further investigation.The depth analysis of the existing data using these algorithms is carried out,laying the foundation for the establishment of the final quality evaluation method.Finally,after introducing the hierarchical evaluation method based on the big data analysis,and combining that with a 6 sigma system of quality control,the quality evaluation method is established.This method is used to evaluate an industrial case,analyzing tightening data of high strength bolts,as well as ordinary bolts,from an internal combustion engine production plant.Through the establishment and application of a rigorous bolt tightening quality evaluation method based on big data analysis,an enterprise can simultaneously increase quality production while decreasing production costs.It also has major significance for the combined application of big data analysis and quality evaluation methods.
