With the rapid development of space science and technology,the demand for space exploration is increasing,in order to meet the needs of the international space station for data transmission and management system requirements,the researchers put forward a lot of protocols,the Advanced Orbit System(AOS)protocol has a high frequency of use among them.In recent years,according to the research results,it can be seen that the actual network traffic has self-similar characteristic,and the buffer is often limited.Therefore,the AOS packet multiplexing technology based on self-similar traffic is studied in this thesis.Firstly,the AOS protocol and self-similar traffic are studied,and the causes of self-similar traffic and the characteristics of self-similar process are analyzed.This thesis gives a brief overview of the source packet model,and studies the long correlation model,and verifies that the network traffic presents self-similar characteristics.By choosing a reasonable ON/OFF self-similar traffic model,the source packet arrival model is established,and the data packet arrival situation is analyzed.The simulation results show that the network traffic has the property of self-similarity.Secondly,the adaptive frame generation algorithm based on self-similar traffic is studied under limited buffer.This thesis deduces the theoretical formula of a series of adaptive frame generation algorithm,including the buffer overflow probability,frame multiplexing efficiency and average frame generation time and average packet delay.The derived theoretical formula is simulated.The simulation results show that the curves of theory and simulation are well fitted.It verifies the correctness of the theoretical formula,and at the same time,it reflects the rationality of deduction thought.Finally,based on the original source packet arrival model,this thesis established a new source packet arrival model.The theory is simulated by MATLAB,and the correctness of the theory and the self-similarity of the model are verified.Further more,the capabilities of high efficient frame generation algorithm and adaptive frame generation algorithm are also compared in this thesis,including frame multiplexing efficiency,average frame generation time and average packet delay,the simulation proves the correctness of the theory.
