The earthquake damage phenomenon of high-rise shear wall structures in previous earthquakes shows that the coupling beam is the first defense of high-rise shear wall structures,the coupling beams yield first and dissipate a significant amount of energy in earthquakes,and the damage of the coupling beams can effectively protect the walls.The mechanism of high-rise shear wall structure in actual earthquakes is complex.How to simulate the mechanism of high-rise shear wall structure under complex stress coupling through experimental means and mitigate the damage of structures through appropriate seismic isolation measures is a challenging work.In order to study the earthquake damage mechanism of the high-rise shear wall structure and how a particular damper works in the coupling beam,a new test method for high-rise shear wall structures is proposed in this paper.In this test,a concrete shear wall was simulated using a PVC plate,and a three-layer shear wall structure model was obtained based on the actual structure.The span-depth ratio of coupling beams was 3.3.Under the action of the horizontal force,the wall limbs of high-rise shear wall structures have a horizontal displacement and rotation angle,the top of the left wall and that of the right wall are straggered,the coupling beams present S-shaped deformation.Traditional horizontal actuators cannot provide large deformations for quasi-static tests,and they cannot provide angles,which cannot meet the test requirements.This test selected two sets of LBCF device for the pseudo-static test loading test pieces,LBCF refers to Load and Boundary Condition Frame,which is a force and displacement boundary condition simulation loading device.During the test,the specimen was loaded according to the deformation of the actual structure under the action of the seismic force.The test results were analyzed and the following conclusions were obtained.1.The two sets of loading devices are very cooperative in the testing process and can meet the test requirements,but the data fed back by the loading device is not accurate.2.Due to the placement of the test piece,the force of the wall limb is inconsistent with the actual situation,and the force of the wall limb is in compliance with the fixed end of both ends.However,the force and deformation of the coupling beam are the same as the actual situation.This loading device can be used for the subsequent high-rise shear wall structure test research.3.A solution to the problem that the force of the wall and limbs in the test does not conform to the actual situation is proposed.Preliminary tests prove that this method has a certain role,but further research is needed.
