Research On Drug Bottle Label Information Collection Device

In order to assist doctors and nurses to accurately check the information and avoid medical accidents during the process of dealing with the injection of bottled drugs,a label checking device for bottle labels was designed and tested in this paper,the device realized the image collection of curved bottle and checked the label information of drug bottle.This paper introduced the characteristics of curved cylinder image,the method of collected curved cylinder image,the method of extracting and processed label information image both here and abroad,and analyzes the collecting method,collected principle and image information processing method of medicine bottle image.The drug bottles collected in this paper is a curved cylinder.The image of the bottle was collected by a single plane array camera,the text distortion and missing will occur on both sides of the image,which leads to the difficulty of obtaining and verifying the label information accurately.The device was composed of the embedded and image processing technology.The device was composed of ARM core board,CMOS image sensor,step motor and serial interface,etc.,and the software algorithm of image label information was processed.In the part of hardware system,the CMOS image sensor and step motor were controlled by ARM core board,the curved bottle image was collected in different times,the linear array image scanning method was realized,and the image data was transmitted to the upper computer.Algorithm completed image received,displayed and stored.The process of image information of drug bottle label checked: first,the SIFT algorithm was used to find the largest matching point between the target image and the medicine bottle image template library and character template library in the upper computer.the target image label information was processed according to the image rules in the template library,that is,image label edge location,production batch character extraction,character segmentation.Second,the character matrix method was used to calculate the characteristic matrix of the characters in the segmentation character and template library,and the matching rate of the two characteristic matrices,that is,the matching rate of the two characters images was obtained.The whole machine carried on the image collection and the label information matched test to the six kinds of medicine bottle,each kind of medicine bottle collected 50 images,through the experiment obtained the image classification matching point was 90,and obtained each medicine bottle label character information matched rate not less than 75%.Through the experimental test,the device realizes the image acquisition of the curved cylinder bottle,accomplishes the planarization of the curved surface image,and solves the problems of the distortion and missing of the image information in the surface image collected by the area array camera.The label information image was extracted,segmented and matched from the bottle image.
