Research On Improvement Of Accounts Receivable Management In A Construction Company

The construction industry has been growing in recent years,but too rapid development has brought many problems,the machinery and equipment,the wages of workers,the materials,etc.all need sufficient funds to safeguard.However,due to their own credibility issues,funding shortages and other reasons,construction side of contractors are unable to allocate funds to construction side of employers in time,and construction side of employers can only continue construction by way of advancement of funds.The project funds that have been accumulated will exist in the account of the construction side of employers in the form of accounts receivable.The construction side of employers has a large amount of accounts receivable,which not only reduces the turnover of the company's funds,the company's asset quality,and more serious is likely to pose a threat to the company's continuing operations.This dissertation takes A Construction Company as an example,through field practice,collects,collates and analyzes various data related to A Construction Company's accounts receivable,and reveals that the amount of A Construction Company's accounts receivable has increased year after year;although its annual growth rate has declined in the past three years,it still exceeds the annual growth rate of main business income;the turnover rate of accounts receivable has decreased,the number of turnover days has increased;and the proportion of total assets has been rising.Then this dissertation bases on the real situation of A Construction Company,which gives some suggestions by analyzing the existed problems of accounts receivable.It points that the company should build an accounts receivable management system which includes all the aspects,the whole process and all-personnel participation through three steps as precaution,control and disposal.To a certain extent,this dissertation is not only for A Construction Company's Accounts receivable of the key control points,but also puts forward the rectification measures with the current existing practical problems.I hope it would have a certain model function,and I believe there will be some reference to the related companies in similar circumstances.
