Since having the advantages of flatness,good comfort performance,low noise,the asphalt road surface has been increasingly applied in road construction.But as a black pavement,the asphalt pavement has strong heat absorptivity,especially absorbing heat during hot seasons,the temperature of which is relatively high.Not only the pavement in high temperature is easily produced rutting,upheaval,slippage and so on,which have effectson the comfortable driving and traffic safety,and shorten the service life of asphalt pavement,but also aggravate urban heat island effect,which will affect people's lives healthy.In view of the negative effect caused by asphalt pavement,in this paper,a kind of epoxy heat-reflective coating with effectively decreasing the pavement temperature was prepared,and which of performance was discussed and researched.the cooling mechanisms of the solar heat-reflective coating was analyzed,in the paper,and then connecting with the demand for road construction,modified epoxy resin was chosen as a binder resin,also the TiO2,SiO2 and matting filler chose as the main function.According to the method of orthogonal,the low viscosity,low gloss and cool clear coating formulation was produced.The different paint color heat reflective coatings were formulated,and which of temperature was researched.The results indicated that adding different types of color pigment would increase the road temperature.Under the same test conditions,comparing with white paint temperature,the different types color of heat-reflective paint was slightly elevated,declining value in 0?2 ?,which the reduction amplitude was different.In lab experiments,the cooling effect of epoxy resin heat-reflective coating applied on asphalt concrete were studied respectively.Through these experiments,Optimal contents,which is 0.8kg/m2,in asphalt concrete were put forward that cooling around 13 ?.The cooling effect was compared with the impacts of the coating contaminated in different degree.The accelerated ageing test was also carried out to study the change of cooling effect.The coating had been reduced cooling effect after contaminated and aging.In outside experiment,it can be founded when asphalt concrete pavement reached around 59.6?,the epoxy resin heat-reflective coating pavement can reduce pavement temperature about 7.8?.After a period of natural aging,the cooling effect of the coating decrease.The skid resistance,abrasion resistance,and adhesion of the epoxy resin heat-reflective coating to pavement surface were evaluated.The results indicate that epoxy resin heat-reflective coating has good abrasion resistance and adhesion properties,however,which reduces the paved asphalt pavement skid resistance.In view of this situation,we put forward the corresponding anti-slip.The epoxy resin heat-reflective coating pavement of test section was constructed and the pavement performance was detected.The results show that the heat-reflecting coating of epoxy resin has good cooling effect and road performance.
