With the development of science and technology and the degree of information unceasing enhancement,bridge engineering industry will furtherly need automation and information technology,and The technology of bridge design based on the BIM technology will become the trend in the future.BIM technology is applied to the whole life cycle of the project as the sharing digital expression of physical features,functional characteristics and management elements of a project or its component part.At present,the development and application of the BIM technology in the bridge engineering exist certain obstacles.The author tries to solve the problems existing in the design stage,which is as the core link of the project and provids the design results for subsequent links to make full play in the whole life cycle of the project.Basing on the advantages of the BIM technology in bridge engineering,the paper has proposed the BIM bridge design process and solved the related problems.The main contents are as follows:1?The paper reviews the development of BIM technology and application in bridge engineering,summarizing the theory and characteristics of the BIM technology advantage,analysing the the obstacles in the design phase,and puting forward the solving measures,comparative analysising of the advantages and disadvantages of the current widely used BIM series platform,finally choosing Autodesk Revit as the core modeling software and puting forward the method of bridge parametric design based on BIM technology;The paper expounds the basic concept of Revit family and its importance to BIM model,and discusses it's establishment method and modeling method of the family,and furtherly introduces the operation steps with simple examples.2?The paper established the family library of parameterized bridge engineering common girder,abutment,pier component library To improve the efficiency of modeling and the family library,giving physical characteristics ? features of components and management factors through a parameterized;Relying on a constructing steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge as the actual engineering project,establishing the BIM 3d model of the whole bridge,and carring on the drawings checking,automatic generation of 2D construction drawing,3D technical clarificaiton,efficient statistical quantities of the whole bridge,such as application based on model,which verify the huge advantages of the BIM technology in the bridge project.3?The paper optimizes existing bridge design process to input control section and bridge design lines can be generated automatically considering the effects of longitudinal and transverse slope and ultra-high widened the upper structure,pile length adjustment according to the contact line and design specification through the Revit + Dynamo.The Dynamo nodes of Group Curves and Topography From CAD were completed for secondary development using the Python language;The Group Curves extracted the inner and outer contour lines of the key sections to generate the superstructure,and Topography From CAD realized the sharing of Revit and CAD for 3d contour map,and furtherly establish the 3d geological model based on Dynamo.The Revit function was expanded by the second development of C# language,which transformed the model line family into a reinforced concrete entity.The function of transforming the model line family into the reinforcement solves the deficiency of Revit in building the rebar.(1)The use of Revit basic function can not generate special-shaped reinforcement;(2)Using Revit rebar function can not control the end point of rebar.(3)It is not accurate in the layout of steel reinforcement and lower efficiency of modeling.4?Relying on a proposed continuous rigid frame bridge as engineering background,according to the proposed method for bridge design based on BIM for the design of the bridge,and the whole bridge model with parametric information,realize the parametric design of Bridges,verifying the feasibility of the proposed design method and compared with the existing design methods of superiority.Bridge design based on BIM technology can greatly promote the development of Chinese bridge design industry,improve the design efficiency,ensure the quality of design,which improve the production efficiency of bridge industry,bring good benefits for the various project participants.
