Under the trend of urban development in the 21 st century,the proportion of cultural industry is more and more large,and urban cultural architecture is the carrier of urban culture and regional tradition,which plays an important role in urban economic transformation and cultural innovation.Contemporary Art Museum is one of the important cultural buildings,with the development of domestic social economy and culture,under the premise of economic protection,the public pay more and more attention to the construction of their own spiritual culture and the enrichment of spare time,so the contemporary art museum has the education,communication,leisure and other functions of the demand,Promote the function of contemporary art museum more diversified and open.The Contemporary art Museum is also a part of the urban space system,the building public space and the urban public space harmonious symbiosis,therefore,studies the compound public space between the building and the city,is advantageous to the art museum function better consummation and the supplementary city function,and it has promoted the opening of art galleries to the urban masses and the infiltration of art galleries and urban spaces.In the first chapter,the author defines the concept and scope of the research object,namely the compound space and the contemporary Art museum,and briefly expounds the research background and significance of the compound space of the museum.The second and third chapters are the comprehensive study of the concept and type of compound space and the development trend of art galleries.The second chapter is about the concept of building compound space,discusses the concept of compound space,spatial characteristics,development motivation and function.The third chapter outlines the development course of art museums at home and abroad,analyzes the functional division and space demand of contemporary art galle ries,and sums up the layout principles of contemporary art galleries in general.The fourth chapter is an in-depth analysis of the spatial characteristics of art galleries,and studies the basic morphological features,forms and components of the complex space of art galleries,and summarized the atrium space,the transportation space,the entrance gray space,the roof space four kinds and the urban space correlation way.The fifth chapter is the design principle and the strategy research,proposed the contemporary art museum compound space four point design principle.This paper investigates and analyzes the classical cases of the domestic and foreign art galleries,studies the compound and interior space compound of the urban space from two angles,and puts forward the design strategies that should be followed in the design of the compound space,which are the compound of urban space mainly from five aspects of urban open space,three-dimensional traffic,ecological environment,spatial texture,public facilities and art exhibition.And The interior space compound mainly from the compound exhibition space type,as well as the color,the material,the scale as an example perceptual experience two aspects analysis.Finally,taking the practical project of Li Zijian Art Museum As an example,this paper analyzes the practical application of compound space in this design to demonstrate the above viewpoints.The paper studies the compound space from the angle of architecture and the whole city and the interior of the building itself,and puts forward new requirements for the design of the compound space of the museum from macroscopic and microscopic two layers.The research results of this paper are instructive to the design of contemporary art galleries in cities,and the design strategy summarized and proposed will provide some reference value for the future art Museum design practice.
