With the continuous improvement of the national economy level,the demand for electricity continues to grow,and the occupancy of temperature-controlled equipment,such as air conditioners and refrigerators,and their share of load continue to increase.Due to the seasonal and load characteristics of such loads,the power system is faced with the risk of the summer peak load increasing and the peak-valley difference’s increasing.Implementing demand response projects on the power demand side to reduce the peak load and peak-valley difference and improve the utilization efficiency of electric power resource has become a hot spot that scholars at home and abroad have studied.At present,the research and construction of China’s smart grid and the deepening reform of the power market will inevitably provide new opportunities and impetus for the research and development of demand-side response.This thesis starts from this point and conducts detailed research and discussion on the load characteristics of temperature-controlled loads and the setting of their active response strategies when participating in demand-side responses.Firstly,based on the 8760 load data in Henan Province,this paper analyzes the data of summer temperature-lowering load in 2016,analyzes the characteristics of the maximum daily load and the trend of change in recent years,and establishes a regression model of temperature-lowering load and temperature from two aspects of holidays and working days.Thereby to analyze the impact of temperature on temperature-lowering load and the relationship between them..Secondly,the paper introduces the air-conditioning equipment’s structure,working principle and load modeling related theory and method,and analyzes the operating characteristics of air-conditioning equipment by Matlab modeling and simulation.Finally,on the basis of the above work,the real-time active response strategy and the corresponding response flow chart with the node voltage lower than the setted threshold voltage are setted for the air-conditioning load;According to the setting of two response degreesof air conditioning load,the IEEE-33 node system is used to carry out simulation analysis on the active response strategy that has been set up to verify the effectiveness of air conditioning load response to the improvement of the power grid operating status after responding according to the setted response mechanism.
