Landscape multifunctionity is the bridge between natural landscape and human society.Through quantitative mapping of landscape multifunctionality,landscape function capacity can be displayed intuitively at specific locations,which can provide decision support for landscape management.Identifying the interaction between multiple functions contributes to the realization of benefit maximum for landscape management and the improvement of human well-being.Five representative landscape functions were spatiality quantified and mapping,namely grain provision,grain supply,soil conservation,habitat maintenance,residential function and landscape aesthetic function by using the model and indexs in Mizhi county,which located in fragile econogical area.On the basis,the spatial distribution of landscape multifunctionality is identified by GIS spatial overlaping.The interactions of landscape functions were revealed using Spearman correlation in county and township scale,respectively.The main conclusions are as follows:(1)It was effectively that the multi-factor correction by related coefficient on the single landscape function.The correlation coefficient of multiple factors and proxy indexes was used to determine the different weights of each factor,which was verified by the results of the actual survey,and the spatial differentiation of the individual landscape function was more objectively reflected.On the residential function spatial quantitative mapping,the four factors that affected the residential function were selected to determine the weight of each factor by using the correlation coefficient to comprehensively modify the proxy index to characterize the spatial distribution of the resident function.The scatterplot verification of the final results and actual survey results had achieved good effect.(2)The different spatial distribution of individual landscape function is significant.The high value of grain supply was mainly distributed around Wuding River and the valley area with low topography;The high value area of soil conservation was mainly concentrated in the southeast and western parts of Mizhi County;the high value area of habitat maintenance function was distributed in the forestland and grassland with good vegetation coverage and areas far from Meizhi county,the lower in the middle area and gully valley;The residential function shows a decline from the center to the periphery.The high value area of aesthetic function was located in the Wuding River basin with superior natural conditions and convenient transportation and local areas in the East and West.(3)landscape multifunctionality had spatial heterogeneity.In terms of spatial distribution,the landscape multifunction supply area was mainly on the middle Wuding River basin and the low elevation of each township.Speaking of quantity,approximately 65.65% of the study area can provide multiple functions and mainly to two functions simultaneously,while two landscape function coverd over 43.35% of the region synchronously,the three and four landscape functions were 20.97% and 1.34%,respectively.The multifunctional area provided by different landscape types in descending order: Farming landscape > grassland landscape >forest landscape> garden landscape > residential landscape >bareland landscape > water landscape > construction landscape;The proportion of different landscape types to provide multifunctionality occupied the total area of the landscape type in descending order:Water landscape > forest landscape > garden landscape > residential landscape > grassland landscape > farming landscape > construction landscape > bareland landscape.(4)The interaction relationship landscape functions combinations in the study was as follows: 5 individual landscape functions in Mizhi County were composed of 10 groups of landscape function combinations dominated by trade-offs.The combinations was for the trade-off relationship,namely Grain supply-all other landscape function,Soil conservation and residential function,habitat maintenance-residential function and habitat maintenance and aesthetic function,soil conservation and habitat maintenance.Residential function and aesthetics function and soil conservation and aesthetics function as a synergistic relationship.In the township scale,there widely existed trade-offs between grain supply and soil conservation,grain supply and habitat maintenance,soil conservation and habitat maintenance,and a synergistic relationship between soil conservation and habitat maintenance.The relationship between other landscape functions is different in each township.
