In order to solve the problems of urban traffic congestion and exhaust pollution,the construction of urban rail transit in China is booming.However,the noise pollution caused by rail vehicles,especially the noise pollution caused by wheel-rail vibration,has become a prominent problem that restricts the development of urban rail transit.Therefore,in order to solve the problem of noise pollution,resilient wheels have been applied in urban light rail vehicles.However,the research and application of resilient wheels in China are still in the initial stage,and there is still no resilient wheel with independent intellectual property rights.So,it is of great significance for the application of resilient wheels in urban rail vehicles to develop new type of resilient wheel and study the vibration characteristic of resilient wheel and the effect of vibration reduction and noise reduction on urban rail vehicle.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:1)Based on the structural parameters of a rigid wheel model,and the problems existing in the use of elastic wheel,and the design principle of resilient wheel,a resilient wheel model is obtained.Then,according to the calculation load determined by standard UIC510-5 and EN13979-1,the stiffness and strength of resilient wheel are calculated by finite element method,and the stiffness and strength of resilient wheel are analyzed according to the principle of stiffness design and strength evaluation.The results show that the stiffness of the resilient wheel and the strength of the components meet the design requirements.2)Based on the theory of multi-body dynamics,the vehicle-track coupling system dynamics model of subway vehicle is established,and then the time-domain samples of track irregularity obtained by numerical simulation of track irregularity are taken as the excitation.Finally,the vertical wheel-rail contact force of metro vehicle is obtained,which lays a foundation for studying the effect of vibration reduction and noise reduction of resilient wheelon subway vehicle.3)The modal analysis and harmonic response analysis of rigid wheel and resilient wheel are carried out by using ANSYS software,and the natural frequency and mobility of the two kinds of wheels are obtained,and the vibration characteristics of the two kinds of wheels are analyzed.At the same time,the time-domain acceleration response curves of the rigid wheel and the resilient wheel are obtained by using the vertical wheel-rail contact force as the load,and the vibration characteristics and damping effect of the resilient wheel are analyzed.The results show that compared with rigid wheel,the low order natural frequency of resilient wheel increases,the higher order natural frequency decreases,and the spectrum characteristic of vibration is improved,and the vibration of web is obviously weakened.However,the axial vibration of tread and rim is not improved significantly.4)Based on the acoustic boundary element theory and taking the transient response of the wheel as the boundary condition,the acoustic calculation model of the rigid wheel and the resilient wheel is established to solve the sound radiation efficiency and the sound power level of the wheel.The sound radiation characteristics and noise reduction effect of resilient wheel are analyzed.The results show that the noise of the resilient wheel increases in the low frequency range,but the noise reduction effect is remarkable in the medium and high frequency range,and the noise reduction is 10.1 dB within the 4000 Hz.
