Tactical Internet is an integrated tactical communication system for digital battlefield based on wireless communication and the Internet technology,which interconnects computer software and hardware devices such as tactical radio stations,routers,and tactical terminals.The Tactical Internet can provide reliable situation awareness and control data transmission among the control platform,mobile combat troops,intelligence system and back-end communication security system.As the continuous development and the widespread using of the wireless communication technology,the scale of modern Tactical Internet is expanding unceasingly,which brings new difficulties and challenges for rapid networking of Tactical Internet,such as IP addressing problems,node connectivity problem,tactical service planning problems,etc.Using the way of traditional manual deployment will not only consume additional manpower but also greatly increase the planning cycle,which is not satisfy the requirements for rapid networking of large-scale Tactical Internet.Therefore,processing an efficient and rational planning by using auxiliary computer tools is very significant to the rapid construction of large-scale Tactical Internet.This paper firstly summarizes the factors which need to be considered in the planning process of Tactical Internet,and combines the general characteristics and networking features of the modem Tactical Internet in the United States,mainly focusing on rapid planning problems of Tactical Internet with large-scale,multi-level,and heterogeneity.Further,on the basis of analyzing the network structure of Tactical Internet,a rapid networking scheme based on tactical construction is proposed and corresponding rules are designed,including tactical construction networking rules,node naming rules,IP addressing rules,the connectivity rules,and communication service source rules.What's more,based on the designing scheme and rules above,a demand-driven large-scale Tactical Internet rapid planning process is highlighted and large-scale Tactical Internet rapid planning system is designed on ODK.Continuously iterative and recursive through the platform to flexibly design network scheme to speed up the network planning process and improve the efficiency of Tactical Internet networking.Finally,this paper use OPNET simulation software to verify the planning results.The simulation results prove the validity and effectivity of Tactical Internet planning scheme,which can realize the network connectivity and meet the network performance of different-scale Tactical Internet.The research work of large-scale Tactical Internet rapid planning can help to guide the design and optimize of modern Tactical Internet architecture and improve the reliability and availability of Tactical Internet,which has important reference value for the development of Tactical Internet.
