Along with the urbanization progress in China, urban construction land continues to expand rapidly and disorderly, which has led to a common phenomenon of shrinking urban green space and fragmented landscape. This has not only exposed many urban problems, but also had a great negative impact on the city's leisure and recreational activities.Due to the special hydro-meteorological characteristics in the southern rainy regions, with the rapid urbanization, the problem of rainstorm and flood safety is growing particularly acute. Most of the existing researches still focus on discussing how to prevent urban sprawl, protect ecological resources, improve ecological environment, etc.,and they mainly explore the construction methods of ecological corridor networks.Although, along with the great efforts invested in the construction of the sponge city in recent years, the corridor network research has begun to be combined with urban water storm management. However, the existing relevant research literature still pays little attention to the increasingly frequent flood problems in the southern rainy regions. In addition,as people are thinking deeper about the urban space and resources,it has long been the focus of current research to explore ways of building corridor networks with multiple functions. Therefore, based on the theory of landscape ecology, this paper starts from the perspective of rainstorm and flood safety.According to the existing methods of building corridor network, the paper tries to explore a multifunctional green corridor network construction method based on rainstorm and flood safety. This paper selects Wangchengpo District in Changsha as a typical research area to analyze the location,hydro-meteorology,and construction in the study area and uses the processed basic data to set the relevant parameters based on the geographic information system and the urban drainage network model to build a rainstorm and flood model suitable for the study area. Then, through a 20-year rainstorm scenario simulation of the study area, the production and convergence processes in the study area were analyzed, and the spatial distribution characteristics of the rain-flood-prone areas in the study area were identified. The risk of storm and flood was evaluated and analyzed. On the above-mentioned basis, three single-function corridors for rainwater, ecology, and recreation were constructed by using runoff simulation, morphological spatial pattern analysis, connectivity analysis, minimum path model, and suitability evaluation.Road network. And then the spatial superposition analysis method was used to explore the mutual influence and synergy between various elements, and form a multi-functional green corridor network in the research area through coupling analysis, followed by the countermeasures and suggestions for the construction of multifunctional corridor network in the end.The research results provide reference and basis for optimizing the regional landscape security pattern and guiding urban land use and ensuring flood safety from the perspective of space utilization. It also has implications for the planning and construction of multi-functional green corridor networks in other similar regions. From the perspective of rainstorm and flood safety, this paper focuses on exploring ways to optimize the spatial distribution of corridors and the implementation of low-impact development concepts in southern rainy regions. It is hoped that in the disorderly landscape, the distribution pattern of plaques will be discovered and the mutual relationship between landscape structure and rainwater, ecology and recreational processes, will be discussed so that we can understand the inherent regularity and mechanism of the occurrence and development of landscape structures, and thus actively use rainwater resources to promote urban sustainability and make room for the landscape spatial optimization in southern areas on the basis of eliminating the rainstorm hazards.
