While China has made great achievements in urbanization,some ecological and environmental problems have also emerged in the cities,such as urban internal disasters,heat island effects,and lack of groundwater.The reason for this is that non-pervious paving is used in most roads and squares in the city,so that rainwater is not effectively eliminated.The vigorous development of Sponge City construction is precisely to solve such environmental problems.Permeable asphalt pavement is a new type of pavement structure.By using large pore structural layers,rainwater can enter the pavement structure and eventually enter the ground or drain through drainage facilities.This design concept coincides with the construction of a sponge city.Pervious asphalt pavement structure needs to meet the requirements of both permeability function and structural bearing capacity.Based on the research results of pervious asphalt pavement at home and abroad,this paper focuses on the design and application of pervious asphalt pavement structure.In this paper,the raw materials of permeable asphalt pavement were studied,three synthetic gradations were selected,and the best asphalt content was determined by the dispersion test and the leak test.The high temperature stability,low temperature stability and water content of the pervious asphalt mixture were studied respectively.The stability was verified.The results of the study showed that the permeable asphalt mixture with reasonable material and good gradation has better road performance.The permeation mechanism of pervious asphalt pavements and the permeability coefficient of each structural layer were studied.Factors such as rainfall characteristics,elevation of groundwater level,characteristics of pavement structure and other factors affecting pervious design were analyzed.The pervious design was divided into pavement permeability and internal drainage facilities of design it.The finite element software ABAQUS was used to analyze the permeability of typical pavement structures.After changing the thickness of the surface layer,the thickness of the subbase layer,and the permeability coefficient of the soil,the saturation of the pavement structure after the rainfall was analyzed,and the water storage capacity of the pavement structure was studied.Impact,proposed measures to ensure the water storage capacity of pervious asphalt pavement structures.Select the structure under the most unfavorable condition of saturated water,change the surface layer thickness,base layer thickness,base modulus and soil-based modulus to analyze the bearing capacity of three kinds of common pervious asphalt pavement structures in China to find out the impact of pervious asphalt pavement structure.The influencing factors of bearing capacity proposed technical measures to improve the bearing capacity of pervious asphalt pavement structures.A method for checking the bearing capacity of the permeable asphalt pavement structure was proposed.The design of pervious asphalt pavement was summarized,the design process of pervious asphalt pavement was given,and the construction process of pervious asphalt pavement was summarized based on the application of Permeable Pavement Project of Yuelai New City in Chongqing.
