The highway construction environment in mountain area is complicated.In the course of road construction,many road along the river will appear,and some retaining walls will inevitably be built along the road and the river.The retaining wall along the river has the advantages of preventing the sliding of the subgrade slope,shrinking the foot of the slope and reducing the compressing riverbed.Influenced by seasonal rainfall or upstream reservoir,there will be a variable process in mountain river water level.If the foundation bearing capacity of the retaining wall along the river is not satisfied,the basement is not embedded in the base rock or the basement is buried too shallow,it is easily affected by the hydrodynamic pressure of the river,which leads to the erosion and destruction of the basement by the river water scour.1.Field investigations were conducted on the damage of the retaining wall along the Wujiang Highway in Jiangkou Town.It was found through investigation that the form of the retaining wall was varied,but it was mainly due to the destruction of the base of the retaining wall caused by the scour.Based on the Wujiang highway project in Jiangkou Town,the site investigation on the failure of retaining walls along the line has been found.It is found that the failure forms of retaining walls are varied,but mainly due to the erosion of the retaining wall base.In view of the influence of variable amplitude water level and scouring to retaining wall,based on the ex isting variable amplitude water level and scouring theory,the stability of retaining wall under different water levels is calculated through the calculation and analysis software of physical positive rock and soil,and the change law of the number of retaining walls in the stage of rising and falling water level is obtained,and the finite number of retaining walls is limited by Midas-GTS.The influence of river erosion on slope stability is obtained by simulation analysis of meta software.At the same time,the stability of retaining wall is analyzed from three aspects of wall height,slope gradient and filling material,and the reasons for the failure of retaining wall are obtained.And further put forward the optimization design to improve the stability of retaining wall,and evaluate the stability of retaining wall before and after optimization.The systematic study of the overall stability of retaining wall and its rational optimization method under the condition of variable amplitude water level,river scour and base scouring,is helpful to understand the change law of retaining wall stability,and provide a economical and reasonable scheme for the design and protection of retaining walls along the river road in the mountain area,and for the similar highway construction and protection.Provide some help.
