In the field of air conditioning and energy applications,air and spray water heat exchange process has been widely used,a lot of air treatment and heat recovery equipment such as spray chamber,no filler cooling tower and spray-type mine return air heat recovery unit are using the thermal exchange principle of air and spray water to work.As the main equipment of heat and mass transfer,the heat and mass transfer capacity of spray heat exchanger has great influence on energy consumption and environmental protection.The gas-water heat and mass transfer process in the spray chamber is irreversible and does not involve thermal conversion.However,the entropy is not suitable for the analysis of irreversible heat transfer problems,and a new physical quantity is needed to measure the irreversibility of the heat transfer process that is not related to thermal conversion.Entransy represents the total capacity of heat transfer from an object or system.In the heat transfer process,heat is conserved,but the heat transfer capacity of object or system-entransy can be dissipated.Therefore,the entransy theory can be used to analyze the performance of heat and mass transfer in the spray chamber.In this paper,the entransy theory is used to analyze the rule of heat and mass transfer and the heat and mass transfer system of upward-spray chamber.Firstly,some concepts are introduced,including entransy,entransy dissipation and entransy dissipation heat resistance.Entransy represents the total heat transfer capacity of an object or system.Entransy dissipation reflects the reduction degree of heat transfer capacity caused by the irreversible process of heat transfer between objects.The Entransy dissipation heat resistance indicates the loss of heat transfer capacity between hot and cold fluid and the system heat transfer performance.Secondly,set up a corresponding numerical model and entransy analysis model,then use experiments to validate the numerical model.Finally,total heat exchange,entransy dissipation,entransy dissipation thermal resistance and total heat exchange efficiency are used as evaluation indexs to analyze the influence law of the structure of the spray chamber and gas-fluid initial parameters for these parameters by Fluent.Analyze the performance of spray chamber to improve the upward-spray chamber heat transfer efficiency,and achieve the effect of energy conservation,emissions reduction and protect the environment.
