Prestressed concrete(PC)continuous rigid frame bridge has been widely applied in the construction of bridge with advantages such as elegancy in appearance,convenient construction and large span capacity.However,with the increase of service life and traffic volume,many bridges have suffered from abnormal increase of main girder deflection and cracking of web and floor.Those issues have drawn extensive attention from engineering circle.This paper is on-the-job master's thesis in engineering according to the actrul project.Based on the load tests results for a continuous rigid frame bridge before and after 10 years,the response surface method is used to the static and dynamic modification of the structural finite element model,the phenomenon of structural stiffness degradation?trustworthiness and applicability of response surface method are also analysed,in this paper.Further,the bearing capacity of this bridge is evaluated and a load limit of bridge was carried out,congsidering the change permanent load internal force and the loss of effective prestress of the floor of middle span.Research results in this paper has set us a usefull example in the bearing capacity evolution and load limit of continuous rigid frame bridge.Moreover,some suggestions on model updating method and structural behaviors research are given.
