The soil desertification causes soil degradation accelerated function and the damage to the ecology. The sustainable human development is confined. Therefore, the monitoring of soil and water conservation is regularly carried out to grasp the state and dynamic changes of soil erosion in the country.Through this way, basic data and technical support for the supervision and management of water and soil conservation will be provided. The ecological environment protection and macroeconomic decision-making,and comprehensively improve the monitoring capacity of soil and water conservation has become an important trend. In the past, dynamic monitoring of soil and water conservation mainly relied on field surveys. With the help of remote sensing technology, the dynamic changes in the survey area can be analyzed to obtain a significant area of soil erosion change.Which provides scientific basis and feasible solutions for the research of land use dynamic change monitoring and the rational distribution and implementation of soil erosion. With the help of "3S" technology,ArcGIS,Frastats, and Excel software,Lanshan and Hengyang in Hunan Province are used as research areas.Based on ESTARFM method, the MODIS and GF-1/WFV products are performed to compound the NDVI series. The land use distribution information for the three periods from 2014 to 2016 is classified by SVM classification method. From the analysis of the distribution quantity and structure of land use types in the two research areas for three periods, the spatial distribution and change characteristics of land use land cover in different periods in Hengyang and Lanshan are obtained.Based on the landscape ecology, suitable landscape pattern calculation indicators are selected to compare the differences of the land use changes under regional differences. The regional distribution characteristics of soil erosion and land use dynamic change under regional differences are analyzed by the grades of soil erosion in different periods of the study area.Main results are follows:(1)Lanshan is a county in the mountainous area. There are large-area forest areas with a high degree of concentration. The area of residential and engineering land is relatively small, the distribution is relatively concentrated. The arable land is relatively small and the distribution is relatively fragmented.Hengyang is a county in plain. The area of residential and engineering land accounts is relatively large and widely distributed. As a county where crops are grown, the area of cultivated land accounts is relatively large. The dominance of arable patches is relatively large and the distribution is concentrated.(2)In Hengyang and Lanshan, the change of landscape patch types and landscape level are roughly similar. The main difference is the perimeter area fractal index. When the value is close to 1,the patch shape is more regular. The value is close to 2,the plaque was complex and humans disturbed is less. The fractal dimension of the landscape in Hengyang is gradually decreasing, while the gradual increase in Lanshan. That indicated that the land use change in Hengyang County was seriously disturbed by humans.(3)In Lanshan and Hengyang, the areas where soil erosion changes in Lanshan are mainly concentrated in hill. The areas where soil erosion changes in Hengyang are mostly concentrated in hill. The area of plains in Hengyang is larger. The construction of Hengyang is developing rapidly. It is mainly distributed in flat areas and hilly areas. However, the area of the construction in Lanshan is less. The soil erosion mainly from changes in vegetation cover and sloping fields. The changes of soil ersion in Lanshan are mainly distributed in the hills.
