With the development of the social economy, people go out to work and live more and more frequently. However, the more people travel, the more likely they are to face pedestrian congestion during the trip.In recent years, pedestrian congestion not only caused huge social economic losses, but also caused serious threats to the life safety of pedestrians. In order to solve the problem of pedestrian congestion, the dynamic characteristics of intersecting pedestrian flow model and unidirectional pedestrian flow model based on cellular automaton are studied through numerical simulating and mathematical analyzing in this paper. In the intersecting pedestrian flow model, there are two kinds of pedestrians whose directions of motion are perpendicular to each other in the system.Under periodic boundary condition, the mean-field method is used to analyze the velocity of pedestrian in the model. The analytical results are in good agreement with the model simulation results, which explain that this method is more effective. When the density is low,the system is in the free-flowing phase;when the density increases to a certain area, the system is in the intermediate phase and there is a"stripe"consisted of two types of pedestrian. As the density increases, the number of"stripes"also increases. When the system is stable and has only one empty site, the empty site's position always changes along the"stripe".Under open boundary conditions, the system appears free-flow and congestion phase.By analyzing the velocity, density and flow of the free-flowing phase, the analytical results are in good agreement with the simulation results, which proves that the method is effective. In the unidirectional pedestrian flow model, there is only one type of pedestrian in the system, and each pedestrian has three directions of motion.Under periodic boundary condition, this paper propose two mean-field analysis methods to analyze the model. They all consider the correlation between pedestrians and are in good agreement with the simulation results. The first method is mean-field analysis method with cluster, which is mean-field analysis method with 2-cluster.The method considers two adjacent grid points as a cluster, and shows the correlation between grid points through the cluster. The second method is mean-field analysis with time evolution method, which analyzes the time evolution of the system state and obtains the self-consistent equation of the gap probability.Under open boundary conditions, there are three phases in the systems:low density phase(LD),high density phase(HD)and maximum flow phase(MC).This paper analyze the critical?_c and?_c for each phase, and the analytical results are in good agreement with the simulation results.
