With the rapid growth of the national economy, the pace of people's lives has accelerated, and the demand for travel and participation in various group activities has increased.Pedestrians have a variety of forms of movement, and cross-form pedestrian movements are most likely to cause congestion. How to reduce the congestion caused by the pedestrian cross-form movement, ensure the safe travel of pedestrians and comfortable participation in various activities has become the focus of scholars' research. His paper constructs a cross-flow flow model based on the cellular automaton model, and studies the dynamic characteristics of the crosswalk flow through simulation and theoretical analysis. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)A one-way(one pedestrian only one direction of motion)crosswalk flow model is established. Two types of pedestrians are placed in the system, and their movement directions are perpendicular to each other.Parallel update motion rules conforming to the characteristics of pedestrians in real life are adopted.Under periodic boundary conditions, the simulation found that there are only two states, free flow state and blocking state in the system. Then,by comparing the analytical results of the mean field with the simulation results,it is found that the analytical results of the two improved mean field methods are more consistent with the simulation results than the analytical results of the simple mean field method. These two improved mean field methods are applicable to the model.(2)In real life, when pedestrians encounter obstacles while walking, they usually choose to shift left or right to bypass obstacles.Corresponding to the model,a three-way(pedestrian with three directions of motion)crosswalk flow model is established.Under the periodic boundary condition, the improved mean field method is used to calculate the pedestrian velocity in the model. It is further proved that the improved mean field method is suitable for the parallel updated pedestrian flow model. The pedestrian density in the system is low,the system is in the free flow phase, and when the density increases to a certain area, the system is in the intermediate phase and there are "stripes" formed by the aggregation of two kinds of pedestrians. The system only one blank space, the blank space position is always moving along the stripe band.
