Energy-saving is an important issue for the development of the automotive industry,and lightweight technology is the most effective one to the car energy-saving,lightweight technology reduces the car quality without reducing the premise of mitigation Quality,it is of significance to increase the car’s mileage.Body in White is an important part of a car,and the floor is the main bearing component of the BIW.In this paper,regarding a selling steel car body,Do Simulation to the steel floor and carbon fiber floor,and establish the evaluation index,Using a new type of carbon fiber composite material to design the floor and using the performance parameters of the steel floor to optimize the structure of the carbon fiber composite floor.The research contents and results of this paper are as following:First,The finite element model of BIW was established,and the same test was designed and implemented.Finally,the results were compared to verify the reliability of the model.Second,The steel floor was separated from BIW,and doing simulation to it in three conditions,the bending stiffness,Torsional stiffness and free mode.obtaining the bending stiffness,torsional stiffness,first-order bending and torsional frequency of the floor structure.providing carbon fiber composite floor a reference to doing the separate optimization design.Third,Doing the quasi-static performance experiment of T300/5208 carbon fiber composite material and obtaining the static material performance parameters of it,which paved the way for the finite element analysis of the carbon fiber composite floor.The CAD modeling of carbon fiber composite flooring was carried out,and then the layering design and finite element meshing were performed to calculate the bending and torsion stiffness and the frequency of the first bending and the first torsional modal of the carbon fiber composite floor structure.Finally,Using Isight software to order Nastran software to do optimization,in which the first-order bending and torsional frequency,bending stiffness and torsional stiffness of the carbon fiber floor are the constrains,and the minimum mass of it is the target.Finally,Determined the lightweight design scheme for carbon fiber composite floor,and makes the floor mass reduce 36.6% while improving its performance.
