In recent years,the far infrared electric heating system utilizing carbon fiber heating wire as heating element has attracted more and more attention.There are many reports on the thermal performance of carbon fiber composites in electrical floor heating,which are mostly for carbon crystal panels.There is little research on electrical floor heating utilizing carbon fiber heating wire.This paper combined industry-university research projects.Based on the technical status and engineering cases of Tianjin JSM Building Materials Limited Company(JSM),the experiment and simulation were combined to carry out a series of research on the thermal performance of electrical floor heating utilizing carbon fiber heating wire.The main work includes:The analysis of technical status and engineering cases of JSM.The paper investigated and analyzed the processing technology of carbon fiber heating wire,floor heating system and cases.The results showed that laying heat loads of the engineering cases were basically based on experience,and the statement of operational performance was basically qualitative reference.The thermal performance test of electrical floor heating utilizing carbon fiber heating wire.By simulating the engineering cases of JSM,the paper designed and built experiment chamber and thermal performance experiment system of electrical floor heating utilizing carbon fiber heating wire(a set of carbon fiber heating wire,230 W(220 V),length 1.71 m×width 1.31 m×height 0.955 m).The results showed that when the power was applied at 220 V for 67 min,the surface temperature of the carbon fiber heating wire was raised from 18 ℃ to 25 ℃.The carbon fiber heating wire had a faster heating rate in the early stage,and the surface temperature reached45 ℃ at 10 min,and the average heating rate was 2.7 ℃/min.When heated for 95 min,the surface temperature was stable and reached 65 ℃.Experiment-scale temperature field simulation.Combined with the experimental results of thermal performance,using the fluent software,temperature field of the experimental chamber in the intermediate vertical plane and the intermediate horizontal plane were simulated and analyzed at different moments.The design of actual single room floor heating system and the simulation of indoor temperature field.By adopting “Design code for heating ventilation and air conditioning of civil buildings(GB 50736-2012)”,the design heat load was calculated for a single room(JSM security room,length 3.5 m×width 3.5 m×height 3m,main brick structure).Design heating heat load was 3392 W,and equivalent to 15 sets of heating wires(230W / group).The heating wires were evenly laid on the ground.The laying distance was 5-6 cm.The indoor temperature field was simulatedwhen the outdoor temperatures were 1 ℃,-5 ℃,and-8 ℃.The initial indoor temperature was 12 ℃.The results showed that the average temperature of the indoor temperature control plane(1.4 m from the ground)can reach 18 ℃ when heated for35 min,65 min and 75 min respectively under the corresponding three outdoor temperature conditions.In summary,combined with the improvement of the the processing technology of carbon fiber heating wire,the optimization of laying scheme of carbon fiber heating wire and preferred temperature control mode,this is conducive to fully play the advantages of fast heating speed and distributed characteristics of electrical floor heating utilizing carbon fiber heating wire.The load can be adjusted in both time and space in order to meet the user’s thermal comfort.It is conducive to efficient use of energy.
