With the rapid development of science and technology,the monitoring and disposal of current urban road traffic jams still rely on manual inspections.Therefore,it is extremely urgent to intelligently identify urban traffic jams,avoid concrete congestion measures,and deal with post-congestion stress.Video-based overhead vehicle traffic monitoring has significant advantages such as low cost,real-time performance,simple installation and maintenance,and is an important development direction of urban traffic congestion monitoring in the future.At present,the image-based traffic congestion discriminant method uses complicated traffic feature parameters,high algorithm complexity,and poor real-time performance.In particular,elevated roads,as an important part of the city's rapid transit,have the characteristics of large traffic volume and fast speed.Existing video-based methods for identifying traffic congestion are more difficult to meet the monitoring requirements.Based on a large number of observations and investigations,this thesis proposes using taxi speed as a characteristic parameter of traffic congestion on elevated roads and reduces the complexity of the algorithm.Taxi as a public service vehicle of a profitable nature usually has distinctive features.This thesis takes Hefei as an example to clarify the consistency of taxis on vehicle types,colors,and overhead lights.A video-based taxi recognition algorithm was proposed.A dichotomy screening is performed on whether or not the sedan is of a car type,whether it is a color,and whether there is a dome light,and the efficiency of the algorithm is improved by reducing the number of subsequent processing targets.In this thesis,a supplementary study on the relevant feature extraction of vehicles was conducted to avoid the occurrence of no taxis on elevated roads.By setting up virtual coils on each ramp to perform vehicle counts per unit of time,the location of traffic congestion on elevated roads can be accurately located.Short-term bans in line with the current treatment measures can effectively relieve traffic pressure on elevated roads and avoid traffic congestion on elevated roads.Two important causes of accidental traffic congestion and traffic surges that cause traffic congestion on elevated roads.After in-depth analysis of the above reasons,this thesis proposes countermeasures.Combined with the pre-discharge scheduling strategy for elevated roads,the method for the control of the elevated road current limiting is completed,and the overall software design flow chart is proposed.Under the laboratory conditions,the digital video processing tool MATLAB was used to simulate and verify the collected video.The results show that the design is feasible in the current limiting control of the elevated road.
