Study On The Identification Method Of Traffic State For Urban Road Based On The GPS Data Of Taxi

Global cities are now suffer traffic congestion problem of different level, along with the high-speed development of more than 30 years in our country caused by urban traffic problem is particularly serious, traffic congestion has become one of the major social problems facing cities, the serious influence to People’s Daily life and production. Rapid, accurate, real-time road traffic congestion state recognition and long-term continuous observation of road running status data, to formulate rational and effective urban traffic management strategy is of great significance. At the same time as the GPS/GIS technology applied in urban taxi operation management, make people can easily get taxi GPS data in the process of operation, and tries to explore this part of the data in the urban road traffic management and the construction of value.This paper studied the basic characteristics of urban road traffic flow, and puts forward the superiority of the taxi as GPS floating car. Second relying on the center of city taxi GPS system has realized the taxi GPS data real-time acquisition, combined with the structure characteristics of the taxi GPS data and taxi driving characteristic is proposed under different state of passenger data filtering method, to improve the quality of the data sample and utilization, and put forward under different conditions of road junction of the average travel speed and average travel delay estimation algorithm. In addition, considering the data sample size on sections of the average travel speed estimation precision and the effect of proposed based on adaptive weighted exponential smoothing method sections of the average travel speed estimation method. Finally based on the theory of fuzzy evaluation, establish the average trip with average travel speed and road intersection delay as a measure of the methods for identifying the running state of the road traffic.Through the study of this article, the taxi as GPS floating car is good for monitoring of running status of urban road, the construction of urban traffic management, and research is of great significance.
