With the rapid development of China's economy,the number of cars has increased dramatically.However,the accompanying shortage of oil energy and air pollution are also increasing.Therefore,the development of low-energy,high-efficiency,low-emission pure electric vehicles has become a hot spot in the automotive industry.However,the current driving range of pure electric vehicles is short,the energy supplement is slow,charging technology and facilities are not perfect and other factors seriously restrict the promotion and use of electric vehicles.The economic cruise control of pure electric vehicle based on target mileage studied in this paper can make the car cruising at a more economical speed,and it can to some extent make up for the problem of pure electric vehicle stop in halfway because of power depleted.With the increasing emergence of car networking technology,smart vehicles and intelligent transportation technologies have ushered in new opportunities for development.The application of vehicle navigation technology and car cruise control technology has also become increasingly mature and popular.However,whether cruise control or adaptive cruise control system used in cars now are all in purpose of improving driving comfort.There are few studies on cruise control for the purpose of improving the economy of the vehicle.With the development of high-precision electronic maps,more and more electronic maps have increased geographical elevation information,which makes it easier to obtain information on changes of road gradients,and can be more reaso nably to control the vehicle with a economic speed according to the road grade,which can improve the driving economy.In view of the above-mentioned issues and development status,we conduct a research on the economic cruise control strategy of pure electric vehicles in this paper.Firstly,we studied the impact of the motor and battery on the economy of pure electric vehicle and established the longitudinal dynamic model of the vehicle;Secondly,by studying the common used estimation methods of pure electric vehicle's remaining continuous driving range,a method for estimating energy consumption of both per unit mileage in suburban working condition and urban working condition has been designed based on the cyclic operation mode method and iterative cycle method,and by combine the target road planning with the vehicle navigation,we designed a prediction method for energy consumption of pure electric vehicles based on the target mileage to provide drivers with driving advice;Afterwards,we studied the control strategy of the economic cruise control for pure electric vehicle,including driver priority control strategy,braking energy recovery control strategy and glide acceleration/deceleration control strategy,and studied the basic principles of fuzzy control,designed a fuzzy Self-adaptive PID controller,built a joint simulation model of fixed-parameter PID controller and fuzzy adaptive PID controller with vehicle longitudinal dynamics on the Matlab/Simulink simulation p latform;and verified the control effect of the fuzzy adaptive PID economy cruse controller;Finally,in this paper,a pure electric vehicle simulation model and a road condition input model for the research of this paper are established in the Matlab/Advisor simulation platform.The prediction of the energy consumption and SOC change after the vehicle passed a real way is predicted.And the braking energy recovery,motor and battery working conditions were being analyzed,the remaining SOC values after the vehicle passed the same mileage at different speeds on a 3% grade road,flat road,and-3% grade road were simulated,which verified the energy saving effect of pure electric vehicle cruising in its economical speeds under different gradients.
