Parks is one of the most important place for ageing peoples’ leisure activities,it plays an irreplaceable role in improving life quanlity of elderly and promoting the healthy aging, but the accessibility level of the park is the key to fully exploit this role. This research based on the data of community population, road map, park distribution etc of Wuhan in 2015,firstly used population agglomeration index, standard deviation ellipse and spatial autocorrelation to analysis the spatial distribution pattern of the ageing population.Secondly, spatial syntax is used to measure the accessibility of the parks. Finally this reaserch were discussed the accessibility level of parks from the perspective of aged people,as well the key areas for future layout of the parks. The findings showed that:(1)Wuhan was at the late stage of ageing in 2015.There were 4 significant hotspots and 3 significant cold spots of the distribution of ageing rate. There are five high density areas of ageing people,is distributed mainly over central city,Qianchuan street,Zhucheng street and Yangluo street,Zhifang street and Caidian street. The distribution pattern of ageing people is gradually thinning out from the high density areas. The degree of agglomeration of ageing people is obviously differentiated. There is a great difference in the degree of agglomeration of ageing people and the density of ageing people. There were only 1 significant hotspots of ageing people, which distibuted in central city and the Jinyinhu street which is adjacent to Hanyang and Dngxihu district. The cold spots area is widely distributed, and the 6 far urban areas are distributed.(2)the global accessibility and local accessibility of these parks in Wuhan are generally good, while the perceptive accessibility is relative weak. Here exists partial spatial mismatch between the spatial distribution of the parks and the roads’ global accessibility and local acc-essibility.Compared with the global accessibility and local accessibility level of each urban districts, the global accessibility and local accessibility of the parks in Wuchang andQingsh-an district are all at a high level. The global accessibility of Jiangxia,Dngxihu,Xinzhou,Ho-ngshan and Hannan district is poor, but the local accessibility has been improved.By contra-st,The global accessibility of Huangpi,Hanyang area is still good, but the local accessibility is greatly reduced. The global accessibility and the local accessibility of the park in Caidian are both poor, the rationality of road planning and park layout needs to be promoted urgently in Caidian. The level of perceptive accessibility in each urban district is different from the former two.(3)The characteristics of the accessibility to parks of ageing people are divided into four models:"high-high","low-high","low-low" and "high-low".The number of "high-high" m-odel parks is the most, followed by the pattern of "high-low","low-low" and "low-high”.Th-e distribution of "high-high"mode parks is more concentrated, from the whole city, which is mainly located within the three ring lines, and from each district, which centrally distributed in several streets in these district. The "low high" mode park is mainly dispersed in the far a-way city. The "low-low" mode parks is mainly located in far away city, and the layout is sca-ttered."High-low" mode parks both located in central city and far away city, are centralized layout. In addition, the aging population concentration and road accessibility outside the ser-vice range of park are superimposed, and it is considered that two types of areas with "high population density-high spatial accessibility" and "high population density-low spatial acce-ssibility" should be paid attention to in the future planning and layout of Wuhan park green space.
