Mainly targeted at super-soft soil,vacuum preloading for soft dredger fill is the new technology invented in recent years.Though it has achieved preliminary effectiveness in engineering projects in coastal areas,it is still in the exploratory stage compaed to maturlly traditional vacuum preloading technique.And there are still many problems under study.With the researching background of the public wharf project(phase I)in port area in the high-tech zone in Jiangmen,Guandong,this article will analyze the consolidate effect of vacuum proloading for soft dredger fill based on the field recorded data.By using field sampling,laboratory test,soft dredger fill characteristics investigation and finite element software,the differences between real and simulated conlidation effect of the project will be analyzeded in a numerical method.The details are as follows:(1)Combined with the existing engineering projects and Jiangmen public wharf project,construction technology and flow of shallow layer reinforcement for soft dredger fill is introduced in details.(2)United with on-site monitoring and testing data,the effects of the vacuum preloading of the soft dredger fill is investigated,including the surface subsidence,the change of vacuum degree,and the shear strength after the soil reinforcement.(3)Excuting lab test of the permeability coefficient of the soft dredger fill in order to study the permeability of the soft dredger fill in different moisture content.(4)Comparing lab test of soft dredger fill deformation with on-site data to summarize the sedimentation pattern of the soft soil.(5)By studying the shear strength changes before and after vacuum removing in soft dredger fill,shear strength is measured and studied under lab triaxial compression test towards two soils conditions.(6)With lab consolidation test,the e-p curve of the soft dredger fill is drawn from 0 kPa to 100 kPa.And the rule of pore water pressure dissipation during consolidation is analyzed in the soil with and without drainage materials.(7)The vacuum preloading process of the dredger fill soft soil is simulated by using the finite element software and the sedimentation rule is learned and compared with the actual monitoring data.
