In today's world,energy crisis and environmental pollution is becoming increasingly serious.Under such circumstances,governments around the world and automobile manufacturers have been making great efforts to research and develop electric vehicles that are non-polluting and clean.However,there also exist some disadvantages such as an insufficient mileage of electric vehicles,which to some extent restrict the application and development of electric vehicles.Regenerative braking technology is a unique technology of electric vehicles,which can effectively recycle braking energy,therefore extending the mileage of electric vehicles.Choosing the pure electric vehicle as the research object and starting from regenerative braking technology,this paper introduces the basic principles of regenerative braking and the structure of the regenerative braking system,analyzes the force of pure electric vehicle,briefly expounds three typical braking force distribution methods in addition to the history and basic principle of fuzzy control theory.After studying the method of the pure electric vehicle regenerative braking force distribution,a new control strategy of force distribution based on fuzzy logic is proposed hereof to achieve the high efficiency recycling of braking energy according to the speed and the state of charge(SOC)of the battery.The simulation of the fuzzy control strategy for braking force distribution is carried out in typical driving cycle by the electric vehicle simulation software ADVISOR,and compared with the simulation results of the basic parameters using the basic control strategy that comes from software hereof.The results from above show that this new control strategy improves the efficiency of regenerative braking energy recovery,and increase the driving range of the pure electric vehicles.The fuzzy Logic Control Strategy presented in this paper is simple and practical,compared to the model of ADVISOR in the premise of ensuring the stabilization of braking,the improvement in recycling efficiency of regenerative braking energy recovery is obvious and transparent,yet fully proving that the fuzzy control strategy is effective.This strategy paves the way to enhance the pure electric vehicles travel distance effectively.
