The flexible cable structure is not only widely used in the field of suspended cable roof,suspension bridge and cable-stayed bridge,engineering ropeway,transm ission line,mooring and so on,but also has a large number of applications in to wing system,such as towing in the air,deep sea towing and so on.The static and dynamic spatial configuration and tension testing technology offlexible cables areve ry significance to the study of flexible cable theory and engineering application,but nowadays there is not a complete set of testing devices and technical standard s.In order to solve this problem,the space configuration andtension testing deviceo f flexible cable is developed in laboratory.The experimental study related to the soft cord was also carried out.The main contents and conclusions of this paper are as follows:1、In this paper,the theory of flexible cable catenary is analyzed,and the th eoretical solution of spatial configuration and tension of flexible cable is deduced.The expression of horizontal catenary tension expressed in natural suspension is ex pressed by geometric parameters.In this paper,the expression of horizontal tensio n in natural suspension state is derived under the condition that the coordinates of the lowest point of catenary are known,and the approximate solution of the horiz ontal tension of the flexible cable and the end point binding force of the flexiblec able without solving the transcendental equation.The above important formulas are analyzed by examples.In contrast to the analytic solution of the catenary theory,t he reliability and stability of the test device is verified by the static space configu ration and tension test test of the stainless steel ring chain.2、According to the requirement of cable static and dynamic test,the design and design of flexible cable space configuration and tension test device are develo ped.The control scheme of "teaching box+motion control card+step motor driver+stepping motor" was selected.The motion plan of "stepping motor + ball screw" h as been determined,and further design the mechanical device,complete the selecti on of components,and manufacture the testing device.3、Through the static space configuration and tension test of the stainless stee 1 ring chain,and based on the catenary theory,the reliability and stability of the t est device are verified.The spatial configuration or tension of the stainless steel rin g chain under other stress state and motion state is tested in order to provide exp erimental data reference for the further deduction and Simulation of the flexible c able calculation theory.
