Switched reluctance motor(SRM),as a new type of control motor,has many advantages,such as simple structure,low cost,controllable parameters,flexible operation and wide speed range,and more importantly,it has the characteristics of large torque with small current.However,due to the special nonlinear structure of switched reluctance motor,the torque ripple of the SRM is too large and produces great noise,which restricts the application of SRM.The traditional control method is difficult to suppress the torque ripple,so the paper adopts the direct instantaneous control strategy to suppress the torque ripple and realize the stable operation of the motor.Firstly,this paper describes the structure and operation principle of SRM,then explains the mathematical model of SRM and analyzes three traditional control strategies: the chopped current control,chopped voltage control and angle position control.With analyzing the causes of torque ripple,the traditional control method to restrain the ripple effect is not ideal.So it raises a direct instantaneous torque control(DITC)algorithm and the theory of DITC method are introduced,and further introduces the fuzzy PI speed regulator and torque of internal and external application of double hysteresis controller in DITC.The control simulation model for the three-phase 6/4 SRM is built up in MATLAB/Simulink environment with detailed analysis of every component module.The simulation results show that the method can effectively suppress the torque ripple.On the basis of theoretical,combined with simulation model and experimental results,this paper uses DSP TMS320F2812 as the main control chip to build an experimental platform.The design of hardware circuit includes the main control circuit,drive circuit,power conversion circuit,position detection circuit,current detection circuit.The paper also gives the corresponding software design process.The experimental system is tested,and the experimental results are analyzed.It is verified that the direct instantaneous torque control strategy can effectively suppress the torque ripple and make the system run stably.
