Voltage and reactive power management in rural power grid is one of the key contents of production management in county level power supply enterprises.Improving voltage quality and maintaining reactive power balance is an important method to ensure stable,reliable and economical operation of power grid.The series compensation technology can improve the operation parameters of the line and improve the transmission capacity of the line.It has been used for many years in the power system,and the domestic application is mainly in the transmission system.In recent years,China began to try to introduce the series compensation technology in the distribution network,in order to achieve the purpose of improving the voltage quality of the distribution network,and achieved some scientific research results,and accumulated some successful cases.This article analyzes the main low voltage of power grid line cover Duolun,discuss the application of the fixed series compensation technology in 10 kV power distribution network,the basic principle of series compensation application in the distribution network,analyzes the advantages of series compensation,analyzed the compensation point and radiation type electric lines set and series capacitor capacity determined by application of digital simulation on 10 kV Duolun line,on the compensation effect of compensation device on the line of different compensation conditions.Finally,the actual series compensator is purchased,and the actual compensation effect is verified by the operation of the Duolun line.The actual operation results show that series compensation technology can exert its advantage of load adaptive adjustment in distribution lines,and has broad application prospects.
