Vibration absorbers are used in vibration control engineering in all fields.Compared with other vibration absorbers,passive dynamic vibration absorbers have many advantages such as low energy consumption,simple operation and low cost.In the passive vibration absorber,many passive vibration absorbers of this type extend from the structure of the single degree of freedom passive vibration absorber,which has been theoretically mature,but its application in complicated environment needs to be studied.Nonlinear passive vibration absorber and its combined type of research currently exists in its theoretical research stage,rare in practical applications.In order to solve the problem of vibration control in low frequency range(less than 400 Hz),different foam layers are used as the elastic layer to form non-linear vibration absorbing structure samples and their combinations.The self-built vibration absorption testing equipment is used to characterize the vibration absorbing properties of the samples.Combined with the basic performance characterization of foams,the influences of stiffness,mass,modulus and other factors on the vibration absorption properties of the samples are emphatically studied,and these factors are combined with the size of vibration absorption structure.Also chose different materials for research.This article will be discussed from the following aspects.(1)The influence of the quality of the sample layer on the vibration absorption properties was investigated.The quality of the mass layer affects the redistribution of the energy of the system,while the mass difference also makes the vibration response of the sample different.Different foam materials due to the modulus,damping performance differences between the sample vibration performance is also different.These differences can have an impact on the vibration of the steel strip;(2)The influence of the thickness of the elastic layer of the vibration absorption structure on the vibration absorption performance is discussed.The thickness of the elastic layer in the vibration-absorbing structure sample has a great influence on the rigidity of the steel strip.The study on the elastic layer thickness can investigate the effect of stiffness on the vibration-absorbing properties of the sample.The greater the elastic layer thickness,the smaller the stiffness of the vibration absorbing structure,the less impact on the vibration response of the steel strip.The attenuation of the steel strand vibration level also decreases as the thickness of the elastic layer increases.The corresponding sample of foam A material with elastic layer thickness of 10 mm has good vibration absorption;(3)The influence of length of elastic layer on the vibration response of steel bars is studied,and the influence of other forms of stiffness on the vibration absorption properties of steel bars is also studied.Meanwhile,the vibration response of steel bars is also affected by the vibration transmission of the steel bars.The length of the elastic layer increases,which leads to the vibration response of the steel strip decreases,the attenuation of the vibration amplitude increases and the vibration absorption performance improves.When the length is 70 mm,the vibration absorption performance of the sample is better.
