With the continuous development of the global economy and the increasingly fierce competition for marine resources,high-performance ships play an increasingly important role.As one of the representatives of high-performance ships today, the trimaran stands out for its many advantages. In view of its excellent resistance Performance, whether there is room for upgrades and transformations is a hot issue for ship scholars. In the energy-saving appendages currently used in square-tailed high performance ships, there are two kinds of tailed deflector and tail spoiler which are most widely used and have good effect. In this paper,a three-body type Two kinds of tail appendages were installed for model test and numerical simulation to investigate the hydrodynamic influence of these two attachments on the trimaran. In this paper, the main research contents and methods of this dissertation are ascertained through understanding the research methods of the resistance performance of the trimaran as well as the domestic and foreign research status of the investigation of the two kinds of attachments of the ship.Firstly,by using the model test,Flow plate on the three-body boat caused by the macro-physical quantities to observe the test phenomenon, summarize the relevant laws;and then by numerical simulation of the micro-flow field numerical calculations to explore the installation of two kinds of attachment on the three-body boat resistance performance The mechanism.Firstly, the model test of the trimaran with and without attached body was carried out respectively to determine the drag reduction effect of the attached body.By changing the sizes of different tail spoiler and tail deflector, the drag performance of the trimaran Then the computational fluid dynamics software is used to discuss the influence of the grid size of the hull surface and the accuracy of the turbulence model on the prediction of the resistance. The feasibility of numerical verification is verified from the comparison of actual physical phenomena and the surface wave. Finally, based on the selected gridding scheme and physical model and other numerical calculation of relevant parameters, corresponding to the model test conditions for numerical simulation, from the analysis of the installation of appendages on the navigation attitude, the hull around the square after the tail The viscous flow field, the pressure distribution on the hull surface and the influence of the streamline distribution, the paper studies the influence mechanism of two kinds of attachments on the drag performance of the trimaran. In addition,in order to discuss the influence of the attitude change of navigation on the trimaran caused by the attachment, the paper designs the fixed-mold scheme and uses the numerical simulation method to carry on the correlation analysis.Through this study,it is found that the installation of two kinds of attachments will bring about the change of navigation attitude of the trimaran, the waves around the hull and the tail of the tail, the pressure on the surface of the hull, and the distribution of the flow field, but the influence is not the same It is found that the tail spoiler and the tail deflector will improve the drag performance of the trimaran under certain circumstances. The installation of the two types of boomerangs causes the drag reduction mechanism mainly to improve the flow field at the tail of the ship, increase its imaginary length and thus reduce the wave resistance,However, the impact of changing the navigation status of the trimaran on resistance is not obvious.
