As a kind of fast and convenient waterborne vehicle,the planing craft is designed to be high speed and more effective in carring capacity,that has been an important direction in planing hull development.The trimaran planning boat is a boat hull with excellent speediness,The planning craft with its own characteristics leads to the resistance curve become camelback shaped form in transition stage Sailing in this stage is uneconomic,Because of the existence of the channel,the low-speed resistance peak of the trimaran planning boat is even higher.It takes longer for the planning boat to turn over the resistance peaks.This is not economical for a planning boat.so it is necessary to optimize the planing boat resistance performance.This paper studies the special configuration of ship type with double channel.This is very different from ordinary planning boat.This paper mainly discusses the resistance performance of the planning boat through the CFD software STAR-CCM+,so the reliability of the numerical results is very important.In this paper,numerical simulation approach fit for high speed planning craft with channel was proposed.Determine a set of reliable near-wall meshes through extensive calculations.Then the uncertainty of the calculation model was analyzed.The numerical method was validate by comparing calculated results with experimental data.Based on the unique configuration of the trimaran planning boat,this article analyzes three important components of the trimaran planning boat.They are main body channel and sheet body.Find out their influence on the resistance of the trimaran planning boat.However,only relying on the modification of the shape can not avoid the impact on the high-speed segment,Because of the interceptor and stern flap were widely used in various high-speed ships.Therefore,this paper considered installing interceptors and stern flaps to achieve the purpose of resistance reduction and discussing the hydrodynamic mechanism of two appendages.Secondly,the flow field information in the channel is analyzed and the hydrodynamic action mechanism of the channel is described.The biggest difference between the trimaran planning boats planing lines and the conventional planing lines is the channel.Based on the appearance of the channel and the hydrodynamic mechanism,this paper calculates and analyzes a new type of channel-extending stern flap.Compare it with ordinary surfboards.The effects of two kinds of stern flap on the resistance performance and running attitude of the trimaran planning boat in the transition section are discussed.Summarizes the impact of installation angle and size of the plate on the resistance and flow field of the transition section,and summarizes the respective advantages of the two types of plate.The influence of the intercepor on the resistance performance and running attitude of the trimaran planning boat in the transition section is discussed.This article summarizes the impact of the installation position and size of the closure plate on the resistance and flow field of the transition section.It calculates the change in the resistance of the axe bow.The effect of the transitional resistance peak was analyzed.
