With the enlargement of the highway reconstruction and expansion projects,the reconstruction technology of the span bridges has become a great challenge.The highway reconstruction and extension projects require that the bridge on the branch line should also be able to achieve rapid construction.The bridge construction on the branch line should be completed with the idea of industrialization to achieve rapid construction which consider the cost,construction period,performance and landscape effect.As a new type of combined structure,steel composite beam shows good economic benefit while meeting the requirements of bridge force.It has been widely used domestically because of its simple structure,convenient construction and lightweight structure.Due to the unique structure,the steel composite beam can well meet the requirements of industrialized construction.If the steel composite beam can be combined with the span bridges on the branch line,it will bring huge economic benefits to promote the construction and development of the span bridges.However,the applications of the steel composite beam in the domestic span bridges of the branch line are still insufficient at present.The related sectional standardization design,optimization and its structure-performance relationship have not yet been clearly researched.In this paper,the works have been studied as follow.Firstly,we have proposed the prototyping design of the steel composite beam based on the selection of the background engineering structure and the requirements of industrial construction.Secondly,the economical and force-justified standardization of span and cross-section layouts have been clearly defined.Thirdly,the structure-performance relationship of the new composite bridge deck have been systematically studied.At last,from the perspective of standardization and construction convenience,we propose a design strategy for bridge decks and steel plate girders.Our research has certain engineering practical value in solving the key issues of industrial bridge construction of such bridges.
