With the rapid development of automobile industry,the higher requirements on automobile performance have been proposed intensively.Electronic throttle(ET)as an important part of automotive engine management system,the quality of its control directly affects the overall car's power,safety and stability.The difficulty of ET control lies in the internal viscous friction,sliding firiction,gear clearance and return spring nonlinear factors.In order to improve the working performance of the ET of automobile engine,this dissertation focuses on the sliding mode variable structure control technology to improve the control precision and response speed of ET.Firstly,the working principle,structure and nonlinear factors of ET control system are analyzed.Then the mathematical model of ET control system is established,and the key parameters of ET control system are determined by measurement.Secondly,in this dissertation the adaptive sliding mode control method is used to overcome the nonlinear influence of the ET control system,and the chattering-free sliding mode control method is used to eliminate chattering in the system.Then,An adaptive chattering-free sliding mode controller is proposed by combining the two control methods to achieve both robustness and chattering elimination.At the same time,the traditional proportional integral differential(PID)controller and the traditional sliding-mode controller are added to make a performance comparison.Finally,by analyzing the driver's normal driving process,three experimental schemes are designed,and the hardware-in-loop experiment is carried out on the ET control system experimental platform.The experimental results show that compared with the traditional PID controller and traditional sliding mode controller,the adaptive chattering-free sliding mode controller not only overcomes the nonlinear influence of the system,but also eliminates chattering,such that both the control accuracy and response speed of the ET control system are further improved.
