Nowadays,researchers are always use numerical analysis method to study the concrete-filled steel tube structure.This paper simulated the analysis of the elastic-plastic with ANSYS finite element software,regarding a Vase double column concrete filled steel tube pier as background.According to the simulation results,such as the ultimate bearing capacity and other useful data,provides reference for the bridge design.Finally,parametric analysis of ultimate bearing capacity of vase-type double-column concretefilled steel tube piers,taking into account the strength grade of the steel pipe,the strength grade of the core concrete,the wall thickness of the steel pipe,the aspect ratio of the concrete filled steel tubular column and the self-weight of the concrete filled steel tubular column.All the works and the conclusions are as follows:(1)The basis theory of stability of CFST columns and the research results at home and abroad are briefly introduced.Several key technologies involved in the simulation process are discussed in detail.(2)A finite element model of vase-type double-column steel tubular concrete piers was established.The concrete is simulated by the constitutive model of three-dimensional compression state and the effect of initial defects is considered(3)The strength of the steel pipe,the strength of the core concrete grade,the wall thickness of the steel pipe,the aspect ratio and the self-weight of the concrete-filled steel tubular column are analyzed.The ultimate bearing capacity of the bridge piers under different working conditions are compared.The ultimate bearing capacity of the piers is correspondingly increased;with the increase of the concrete strength,the ultimate bearing capacity of the piers is significantly increased;increasing the thickness of the steel pipe can greatly enhance the carrying capacity of the concrete filled steel tubular columns;When the aspect ratio increases,the bearing capacity decreases significantly.The selfweight has a great influence on the calculation results of the ultimate bearing capacity of CFST pier and can not be neglected.
