With the increasing proportion of new energy paralleling in the grid,such as wind power,due to its intermittent and uncertain characteristics,the peak pressure of the power system is growing with each passing day.The traditional peak shaving strategy can not meet the peak demand of the power grid with high proportion new energy.In recent years,the Concentrating Solar Power(CSP)has been developed rapidly.Different from the other new energy sources,such as photovoltaic and wind power,the CSP has a large capacity thermal storage system,therefore,its operation is more stable.Except this,the CSP also has good regulation performance.It can not only quickly adjust its own power,but also realize quick start and stop.Thereby,it has created exceptional conditions for its participation in the peak shaving of power system.Therefore,the strategy study of concentrating solar power participating in peak load regulation of power system is an important way to achieve a high proportion of new energy grid and consume renewable energy by renewable energy.It has important theoretical research value and engineering guiding significance.The main contents of this thesis are as follows.(1)Based on the description of several forms and characteristics of CSP,the structure and function of each subsystem are further analyzed.The thermodynamic cycle mechanism of CSP and its five different operating modes are studied in depth.On the basis of this,a simplified structure of CSP which based on the energy flow process is proposed.Meanwhile,the simplified mathematical model of the CSP under the mode of power generation and cogeneration has set up.(2)Aiming at the problem of tremendous curtailments of wind power in the North power grid of China during the heating period in winter,which caused by the lack of the peak-load regulation capacity of power system.The strategy of peak regulation by CSP based on the operation mode of cogeneration has proposed.At first,the changes of Electricity-heat characteristic of extraction unit and its peak-load regulation capacity is discussed after the CSP auxiliary heating.Secondly,the operation strategy of CSP based on the operation mode of cogeneration has proposed,and on this basis,the CHP(Combined Heat and Power)dispatch model with CSP is built.Compared with the traditional model,the additional restraints like system heat balance,the thermoelectric coupling of extraction unit and the operation of CSP was included in the new model.At last,the simulation results show that the CSP based on the operation mode of cogeneration can decouple the thermoelectric coupling restraint of extraction unit,effectively improve the wind power accommodation level and the economy of power system.Meanwhile,it also can reduce the peak pressure and avoid the frequent regulation of condensing power unit.(3)According to the multi-scale characteristics of power generation resources,DR(demand response)resources and the prediction accuracy of wind power is gradually improved with the approaching of the operating point.The peak regulation strategy of CSP based on multi-scale and considering DR has proposed.At first,the multi-scale characteristics of schedulable resources in the system and the peak regulation mechanism based on multi-scale are analyzed.Secondly,the DR mechanism is analyzed and the PDR(price-based demand response)and the IDR(incentive-based demand response)model was set up.At last,the rolling peak shaving optimization model with CSP has propsed,which consists of three different time scales(namely week,day ahead and in-day dispatch).At the same time,in order to improve the accuracy of the scheduling results,the SSP was considered in the day-ahead model.Compared with the traditional model,the new model considered the influence on peak regulation of different response speed of power generation resources and DR resources.And on the different time scales,each unit combination,generation power and demand response strategy are determined respectively.The results of the study show that the peak regulation strategy of CSP based on multiple time scale can make full use of the schedulable resources in the system and take full advantage of the quick start and stop characteristic of CSP to participate in peak regulation.Thereby,the peak regulation strategy improves the economy and reliability of the system,and reduces the influence of wind power prediction error on scheduling results and the spinning reserve capacity of system.
